Official Contest Terms & Conditions

1. To enter this contest contestants must go to Gritty McDuff's website (www.grittys.com) to complete the official entry form on-line. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. Contestants must be 21 years old or older at time of drawing.

2. Enter as often as you wish between April 1, 2008 and April 30, 2008. All entries must be received by April 30, 2008. No paper reproduced or photocopied entries permitted. All entries must be completed on-line. To read an official copy of the Terms & Conditions of this contest, please go to www.grittys.com. Both the Hannaford Stores and Gritty McDuff’s or any of their affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, contractors or vendors are responsible for entries that do not get properly recorded on Gritty’s website. All entries submitted become the property of Gritty McDuff’s and may be used to send other promotional materials to the entrant’s e-mail address.

3. The winner will be selected in a drawing that will occur on or around May 15, 2008. The drawing will be made from eligible entries received at Gritty’s website. A representative from Gritty McDuff’s will determine eligibility and the representative’s decisions are final when concerning contest eligibility. Winner will be notified by telephone or e-mail. Winner must acknowledge contact with-in 2 days of contact by a contest representative. In the event the winner can not be contacted with-in 2 days of their name being drawn, the winner will forfeit their prize. Only one winner per family or household. Winner may not substitute or transfer prizes, but Gritty McDuff’s reserve the right to substitute prizes with other prizes of equal or greater value. Hannaford is not responsible for the drawing.

4. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be required to provide proof of age and identification at time the prize is awarded. Any unredeemed prize will be forfeited. If any winner cannot accept prizes as awarded, the prize will be forfeited and an alternative winner may be chosen.

5. Contest is open to residents of Maine who are 21 years of age or older, except employees and their immediate families of Gritty McDuff’s Brewing Co. or the Hannaford Stores, their affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, contractors or vendors. Immediate families are defined as relatives living with-in the employee’s household.

6. Acceptance of the prize offered constitutes permission to use the winner’s name, biographical information and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation.

7. By accepting a prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless Gritty McDuff’s Brewing Co. and Hannaford Brothers, their affiliates, parent companies, subsidiaries, contractors or vendors harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including limitation, personal injuries, death and property damage. By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by all Official Terms and Conditions of this contest.
