Gritty’s Courage Ale is almost as popular as Patrick Dempsey sightings at the Dempsey Challenge. This is our 8th year being involved and we’re happy to do it. You should join Gritty’s team to walk, run or cycle that weekend.

Let Back Country Excursions, really rattle your chain at the 23rd Annual Micro Brew Mountain Biking Festival on August 1-13. “We’re at it again and all for the love of biking and beer,” said Back Country Excursions Operations Leader, Cliff Krolick. “We’re very happy to team-up with one of Maine’s most respected craft breweries to offer our customers an amazing weekend. Gritty’s was here in the beginning and we’re happy to have them back on our 23rd anniversary.”
The MTB party gets underway Friday at noon and won’t stop until late Sunday. By day, Back Country Excursions will offer guided small group rides for all levels and lots of sponsor giveaways. By night, they light the bon fires; have a BBQ then ROCK to the live folk music played by local Maine bands. Participants will get four meals, a huge Lobster bake, 3 days- 2 nights, lodging, camping or yurt are also Included. The Annual Micro Brew Mountain Biking Festival has been rated Maine’s #1 MTB Party! 5th Annual Gritty’s Triple – The Epic G-3 Bike Ride is Sunday, August 20. It’s the FIFTH ANNUAL G-3 so let’s make this one the best yet!
