Gritty’s Freeport has a 5% ABV session IPA on tap that is a mouthful of hops. Brewed with Pale Munich and Cara malts, Cascade and Centennial hops. Hops were added only at the end of the boil to reduce bitterness, but still deliver that big hoppy flavor.

Freeport’s Pale Lager is light with a crisp flavor.
Gritty’s in Freeport brewed this Pale Lager in late April and it’s been a pub favorite ever since. The brewers used Pale Crystal and Munich malts with Northern Brewer, Saaz and Tettnang hops. 4.9% ABV.

Gritty’s is proud to sponsor the Maine Appalachian Trail Conference.
The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) holds a conference every two years at different locations in the Eastern US. The 2017 conference will be held From August 4 to 11 at Colby College in Waterville. This week-long event includes over 240 hikes, numerous workshops, and excursions to local areas of interest. The conference will also include ATC’s 41st membership meeting. Each evening there are exciting adventure presentations and stellar entertainment. The event draws people from around the world, but primarily from locations along the nearly 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail (A.T.).   At the last conference held in Maine (1997 Sunday River), 1,380 people participated.  We anticipate over 1,200 attendees in 2017.
