Gritty McDuff's is all you imagine an Irish pub to be. The Black Fly Stout nitro is awesome, lobstah roll and house made chips were also great. Prompt friendly waitstaff and a great atmosphere, all on Fore street, old town charm.

The outdoor patio by the big open field with playground equipment for kids makes this our go-to stop for family dinner in Freeport. Food is good, beers and prices are great!

The food was delicious. Their drinks were yummy. Three of four of us had the Blueberry ale, and the other had their signature mimosa. So good! They also let my guests bring their dog and offered him some water. Service was great too. The deck is a nice spot because it was shady on a super hot day.
